(21,846 posts)1. What does 140 mean?
I figure that 45 is the current occupant of the WH but have no idea of 140.

(2,560 posts)2. I was wondering about that, too.
And I have another question about the 45. I believe one of your presidents from way back only served one term but was defeated in the election after his first four year term. Then he was re-elected in a later election. Does he count as one president or two?

Stephen Grover Cleveland (March 18, 1837 June 24, 1908) was an American politician and lawyer who was the 22nd and 24th President of the United States.[1] He won the popular vote for three presidential elections in 1884, 1888, and 1892 and was one of two Democrats (with Woodrow Wilson) to be elected president during the era of Republican political domination dating from 1861 to 1933. He was also the first and to date only President in American history to serve two non-consecutive terms in office.

He does count as two presidents since those terms were non-consecutive.
