believe themselves to be not bound by standard rules of behavior. In some cases, their parents are quite well-behaved and very polite in public, so it could just be their own ugly nature. Others, however, come from a long line of ill-behaved people. I suspect that Donald Trump is one of the latter, and was never even taught how to behave in public. Still, you could be right and it could be a non-hereditary birth defect of some kind.

He's not a quick learner, either, so it's too late now for him to learn social skills, I'm sure. It would be best if he were not in such a high office. His lack of manners and civility will be harmful to our nation, I have no doubt.

More reasons to remove him from that office, in my opinion.

school to straighten him out. I can believe it. I think he was an incorrigible and this was the only way they could handle him.

people who understand how to behave. Others, however, produce arrogant, ill-mannered graduates. I'm not familiar with the one Trump attended.

So much of diplomacy is a matter of manners, really. The tradition is ancient and still important.

Etiquette benefits the person who displays good manners, as well as those he or she deals with. That's the important lesson. By behaving properly, even a narcissist can be seen in a good light. A narcissist with bad manners, though, is naked, with all of his shortcomings visible.

Learning proper behavior and etiquette is an essential part of anyone's education, even a narcissist's.
