My prediction about the 2020 election.
If trump does not start a major war or cause a economic crisis, I predict the american people will vote for medicare for all. Here are some reasons why.
Sanders got the ball rolling this past election. The american people, including trump voters heard his message. The american people know single payer is working in other countries.
The republicans have made a big mistake. For 7 years they sabotaged obamacare. During that time they told their voters obamacare has to go. They are now stuck with that. They will wreck obamacare. It does not matter if the republicans pass their healthcare bill or not. Whatever they do the healthcare system is going to get worse.
For decades the republican propaganda campaign against its voters worked. It's not working on healthcare. The republican voters are tuned in on healthcare. Over the next few years many of them will lose their healthcare. They will notice.
The republican party is going to prove the free market healthcare system does not work.
I hope sanders and other democrats continue to travel across the country talking about medicare for all. Talk to the trump voters. I believe the american people are ready to move to medicare for all. They are tired of all the lies.
