I don't see Trump having the guts to say something like "you know what uranium is, right?" to Angela Merkel. After about 3 minutes with her, he was probably thoroughly intimidated by her intelligence and the breath of her knowledge.

I just thought the OP was making an apt comparison due to the occasion of Merkel's visit.

Amazing that Chancellor Merkel held it together in his presence.
