Russia is a Economic Third World Disaster. They need Trumps Sanction lift in order to get a half Trillion dollars to fix their Oil Industry. They import most of their food stuffs for their Major Cities.

7. I see a few reasons for making such a statement

1. To get publicity for his podcast (if so, then he should be denounced for spreading fake news).
2. Scare people into paying more attention to the Russia problem (which is just a tiny bit more forgivable than number 1).
3. He knows something that has been classified.

Whatever the reason, I find it really strange that he would announce this. I am waiting to see what the other Democratic senators have to say.
