We know how much the Baltics are worth to Russia and what the elimination of NATO means. I think it is top priority on Putin's list.

Though they pointed out that Putin is much more practiced, subtle and clever at all his machinations than Trump.

Putin is most likely a genius. And evil one no doubt. Doing nothing on impulse and carefully considering all his options. He has a goal bigger than himself that he has worked toward four years.

Trump is a fucking idiot. He can't even put together a coherent sentence. His only goal in life is self promotion.

of the two of them. My comparison of Trump to Putin had to do with Trump's intent and aims for the government - to turn it into an autocracy with himself in charge, as Putin has done with Russia. Putin has succeeded because he's smart; Trump will fail eventually because he's stupid. The question is only how much damage he will do in the meantime.

But he will not fail because he is stupid. And he is definitely stupid.

I believe that our institutions are stronger than most here think. And our democratic traditions. We now even have republican starting to push back.

This will not end well for Bannon.
