(16,850 posts)We have an absolute dolt of a "President" who is so paranoid and insular that he only trusts his inner circle and, despite having the intellegence community at his finger tips, pushed a "fake news" story hatched by Russians!!! You can't make this shit up!

(23,065 posts)drumpf is such an idiot, he goes right along with it, never figuring out that all he is is Putin's puppet. Putin doesn't admire don the criminal con, he laughs at him as he's using him to destroy America in reality and in the eyes of the world as well.

(3,335 posts)Russia is just a bunch of amateurs by comparison.
"...A formal apology for it came overnight via Donald Trumps National Security Advisor H R McMaster to his opposite number in No10, the PMs security chief Sir Mark Lyall Grant. Press secretary Sean Spicer made the claim after hearing it on Fox News. ... Mr Spicer also rang Britains Ambassador in Washington DC Sir Kim Darroch yesterday to promise him the allegation would not be repeated. ..."
How many more times will McMaster and Spicer have to apologize for the Dump.
"...Branding the claim complete and utter nonsense, a furious GCHQ spokesman said late on Thursday night: Recent allegations made by media commentator Judge Andrew Napolitano about GCHQ being asked to conduct wire tapping against the then President elect are nonsense...
They are utterly ridiculous and should be ignored. ...
So if a so-called Judge is the source for passing on 'fake news', can we hereto refer to him as a "Con"?

(59,498 posts)not the President, who tweeted it, not his press secretary, not even the CT nut Larry Johnson! It is hilarious to see the administration point to Fox. The question is whether they will fire their judge who reported it --- or try to throw the hot potato to someone else.
This already is highly damaging to Trump. He accused the esteemed, well liked former President, respected around the world, of a serious crime and then when asked to proof it mumbled that Fox told him ... even though the source referenced by Fox was beyond sketchy. Even a poster on a message board would be criticized -- and he is the President with 17 intelligence agencies (or more) to call upon before making such a flamboyant comment.
