Even mainstream Republicans LOVE pushing for war, and Trump is more power hungry than all of them.

Anything is possible to distract or cover up his corruption and complicity since Congress would fall in line behind laying off criticism or actions against him as it would be considered weakening USA to tear down the President in time of war

at the wheel whenever Rump doesn't elbow them away. But they might manage to start a war. Rump may or may not know it, may be a bit more afraid now that it's more real than before, but I strongly suspect he'll want to put all those new armaments he insists we need to work.

Even more powerful an incentive, of course, would be the political and economic benefits that would accrue to Republican cronies, i.e, buying the support he badly needs from wannabe kleptocrats.

But they haven't accomplished it yet.

China won't tolerate a war on the Korean Peninsula.

Iran, on the other hand, will give him a bump. For a little while.

He's already considered untrustworthy and incompetent by a majority of Americans.

The last president who started a war of choice saw his approval ratings sink from 90% to the high 20s.

No way would Gump recieve the public's support on this.
