Our saving grace is that this White Housed is the most incompetent of all-time.

They've literally been able to do nothing because of their fuck ups. I don't see that changing. Just get through the rest of 2017 and once 2018 rolls around, with the midterms down the pike, no congressional leader is going to want to do anything, especially if Trump's popularity continues to crater.

This is the period of time where a president is supposed to push through most of his sweeping legislation. Trump literally has done none of that. Even his Executive Order travel ban has been held up by the courts. If this White House was even remotely competent, he could do some MAJOR damage. As is, though, everything he touches or backs turns to shit.

Take on the Mercers and fake news, somehow. One thing, support our news agencies, especially those doing investigative reporting. Our government investigations are a sham. Support the NYT, Wash Post, Guardian, and more.

Yes, if we can fight him on each bizarre inane policy until 2018, and at least get the Senate, we can mitigate the damage. We only need 3 Senators, but we are up in many tight races. Nothing EZ here.

Has put this administration in a class by itself. Hey I'll bet they don't know anything about rocket science either. What say we put them in charge of the next Mars mission? (I don't really have to mark this do I?)

to assume there was collusion with Russia.

Before the election: smooth coordination of message timing.
Since the election: self-inflicted dick-trampling.

of our government at every level.
That has already happened/begun.
It is just as dangerous as anything they can get done with laws.

EPA, Health Dept, etc is happening incredibly fast and so dangerous.

Tillerson is a total incompetent - a Russian yes man operating in near secrecy. This is utterly frightening ...

has said from the election that they will drown in incompetence. They seem to be proving him right.

Added, the most evil, base, heartless goals of the congressional Rs is showing even their supporters how horrid they are.

11. Same with most criminals. And, believe it or not, Scalia.

Scalia was such a toxic personality he was unable to bring anyone, except nut cases, with him on cases.

And as a public defender we used to always say "thank god our clients are so stupid". Always in the abstract, mind you. We were warriors for our clients. But they did the dumbest things which led to them getting caught.

My only fear with Trump et al is that they might figure it out. Hire someone smart enough to navigate Congress and get shit done even though my fear that Trump will stop looking like an ass is dissipating. He will always be an ass and there is no one he admires enough to make him stop looking like one.

On the navigate Congress bit, LBJ was probably the most successful president of my lifetime (if you take vietnam out of the picture). His war on poverty and support of civil rights has had a long lasting impact on our country. And he did it because he knew how to bully Congress. I wouldn't call him a great man but he did many great things. MANY.

Someone isn't totally incompetent but "they" are totally using Trump's personality and love of chaos against him.

But, look at all of rollbacks of important laws that affect the climate, emissions, etc. all done using EOs.
