All Republican Senators and House Members now know..their leaders had....

nothing............no replacement for the ACA.....nothing..less than nothing..What they have will put 24 million off health insurance in a few years...

We knew it all alone...

Trump lied.
Republican Leaders lied.
Now for all to see...... nothing, nada, worse, awful...etc.

White House said today...no..not everyone will have health insurance on their plan..too bad...!!!
Ryan smirked during interviews, and said nothing..cause he has nothing.. oh...they will fix it..
No ...they are lying some more.....They want to remove the ACA..then replace it with ...
nothing because they cannot replace it...with something as good...

I recall the work and effort that went into ACA...compromise, involvement of hospitals, insurance, doctors etc...........It passed the House in a major vote ...217- 214...yes 3 votes....I remember that we all said that it was not enough...but a start...Now, the Republican leadership wants to go back to nothing....why???

Simple..they don't give a damn about those people that are on this program, and the millions that gained insurance from it...The Republicans got nothing ..for all that talk,,,years of talk..Oh yea...they could come up with something better........Fuck Them...They got nothing.......The House vote will be soon, and the Senate later..but there is a good chance that their replacement will go ....nowhere...and ACA, or Obamacare will still be the law...and that will be something great for this nation

the work and effort that goes into and went into Obama's Health Care Program.. They couldn't care less...and what they have..proves it...there is the proof, it was all lies.. and the 24 million who would lose health insurance...well Fuck Them..tough for you...because we, the Republican Congress People got ours, and the rich got theirs...so Fuck all that don't....

That is how they think..lower taxes for us, fuck you...now that is as true and strong as I can get..Screw You, I hate you...So you go broke if you need major medical care..and no insurance..WELL... tough...we got to get rid of Obamacare...cause that is what counts..not you or the 24 million like you ...

I got a tax break, and you are out of luck....too bad....oh we will come up with something in Phase 3..

Sure..and the earth is flat, and the sun sets in the east...and Trump is smart...and again...tough for you..

But they were too busy whining and trying to repeal it. They kept promising that they would have a "better" plan. In case we didn't know they were lying before, the definitely do now.

There's only one way to explain this: they not only don't care, but they WANT people to die. I know that sounds crazy, but what else are we to think? They KNOW what their so-called health care plan will do and still they shamelessly push it, thinking the rubes won't know the difference. (They may have a point there; some Trump voters have said they thought Obamacare would be repealed, but not their ACA!)

but they had nothing......for all to see...nothing but throwing 24 million off of health insurance that they have now...

That has his name on it. It's kind of what some new Egyptian Pharohs did to his predecessor, chisel the name off walls and break statues, effigies and references of him. Destroy the memory and history of the Pharaoh before, and people will soon forget he existed, and make the current pharoh their new god to worship. That's what trump wants. He hates how beloved Obama is.

I think it will be drastic. So many millions are losing coverage. If they and their families and friends are motivated to vote against Republicans in 2018, we Dems having a winning issue.

The Democratic Campaign Professionals should be working with these disenfranchised People as soon as possible. When the Republicans vote to throw millions off of Health Insurance, the Dems need to be there to hang this failure around the Republican's necks. The goal is to take back Congress in 2018.

I am hopeful and fired up. We need Health Care Warriors out there.

Plus...give tax breaks to their oligarchic paymasters... Yes, you said it all in 2 sentences..especially this part..."..blame the black guy"...

That "black guy" who they like to blame...has saved tens of thousands of lives through the ACA. Families have gotten their children care before serious disease has set in....I wonder how many saved by the ACA, ever think that the "black guy" saved them? I know my insurance saved every sent I have because of several health emergencies...and I do know who was responsible for Medicare ....it was LBJ....some of those emergencies have happened while I have been on Medicare...and I am so grateful for it..

And...while we are at it...the BS that Obama didn't reach outs to pugs is false. He met with them before meeting with dems. And didn't he get several gop votes to defeat the filibuster??

And...why don't dems mention that half of bankruptcies were medical related?

Yet...gop memes dominate the conversation.

"In a conversation with the National Review’s Rich Lowry on Friday, Ryan bragged about how conservatives now have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to take health coverage away from the most vulnerable Americans. "

“So Medicaid,” Ryan told Lowry, “sending it back to the states, capping its growth rate. We’ve been dreaming of this since I’ve been around — since you and I were drinking at a keg. . . . I’ve been thinking about this stuff for a long time. We’re on the cusp of doing something we’ve long believed in.”
Ryan is 47 years old, which means that, if he started “drinking at a keg”

and the distinctions in everyday life are mostly trivial. Different brand names, French and English on all packaging in Canada, and the like.

Until you get to the "everyday life" part of health and wellness. Our healthcare system has its problems, but damned few people talk about systemic changes, and the number that talk about scrapping it aren't even statistically measurable, let alone significant.

It doesn't deliver care the way it should and could, but I submit that even splitting the difference in proportional cost would put it very close to the top of the world rankings.

It is completely unfathomable to virtually every Canadian I talk to why the US isn't clamoring for something at least somewhat similar. And the vote mentioned above - 217 to 214?

When it came time for Canadian federal representatives to vote, it was an up or down vote on a plan far more radical than the ACA - 100% coverage and virtually free to all - and the vote wasn't quite as close. It was 177 to 2.

I can't imagine why the difference is as stark as it is.

On a slightly interesting side note, the man whose efforts were by far the most consequential of any individual involved, Tommy Douglas, was named The Greatest Canadian in a national poll that was open for a year. Sometime after the plan was in place and he was being interviewed for a bit of a retrospective, he said "Beware the little man with a big idea."

He was also Keifer Sutherland's grandfather.
