Why is there no legislation to deny payments made to Trump properties?

Maybe that was too brief, because I had to fit it in the sub line, but this doesn't seem that difficult to me; outlaw taxpayer payments to Trump properties used by Trump to promote Trump, or for his vacations, or his business meetings.

Where is Al Franken or any other Senator? This shouldn't be difficult. Yes, Secret Service has to accompany Trump wherever he goes, and we're probably already stuck legally in that the U.S. pays for his security detail, but why should taxpayers pay for the rental of his meeting rooms facilities? You KNOW he's billing the U.S. taxpayer for the use of Mar A Lago while he's golfing and entertaining, and shooting selfies of calls to North Korea. Why should a DIME of the facility fees be charged to the United States Government? And if they're not, provide some accounting and prove us wrong.

That needs to change in 2018. In June, the First Lady is moving to Washington so that will stop the new pork city population from paying. Hopefully once she's there he won't go to Florida as much.

The bilking of taxpayers on his Florida vacations are peanuts compared to colluding with an enemy.

I guess you missed the hearings this morning. Here's a little info for you:

Best way I can frame it. Do what THEY do. File a new bill every other week. Keep it in the headlines.

Oh, and if you really believe the Melanoma is moving to Washington, I'll my hat (which is essentially the same consistency of a Trump Steak). I don't know who I heard pointing it out the other day, but it was someone close to/very familiar with Trump and his way of doing business; if Trump says "We we will show you very soon," "This will be happening in the next couple of weeks," "Believe me, this will be revealed very soon," or any derivative thereof, it is one of his obvious 'tells' that he has nothing. It's a con-man sales tactic to keep the mark hanging on. He promised to release his tax returns, he promised Melanoma was going to give a press conference, he promised this and that, all within the next couple of weeks. Never happens. It's a blatant sales con, because you don't want the mark to go away before he puts down his deposit. Trump is just running America like his businesses...into the ground.

Sorry, I don't have time to research it, but I think it may have been a Congressman from Oregon who was going to introduce it.

From a Move-on email:

Representative Earl Blumenauer introduced the No Taxpayer Revenue Used to Monetize the Presidency Act, or, the No TRUMP Act, to prohibit the use of taxpayer funds to pay for events, overnight stays, food, and other miscellaneous expenses at hotels owned or operated by a president or his or her relatives.

He is from Oregon.
