...I wonder if there's enough now, with Comey's testimony today, for Mr. Obama's lawyers to send a cease and desist order to the White House demanding they retract their accusations of wiretapping, apologize, and refrain from any further accusations or inferences?

(1,803 posts)Every time Trump doubles down on his allegations of wiretapping, his credibility takes a hit, his approval ratings plummet further, and the illegitimacy of his Presidency is further underscored. Obama should say and do nothing and let the trainwreck that is the Trump administration continue to destroy itself. At this rate, Trump won't last for 18 months. If he's not impeached, he'll have a heart attack or stroke out given his very robust health and fitness (/sarcasm off), he'll give up the office "for health reasons" before getting impeached, or some right-wing wackadoo upset about a failed campaign promise will exercise his or her Second Amendment right.
