I had hoped to pay attention all day but work got in the way and I could only hear bits and pieces.
I took away two substantive facts:
~Trump lied when he accused Obama of tapping his wires. (Doh!)
~There is an ongoing investigation into ties between his posse and his El Jefe, Putin.
What did I miss?

(11,996 posts)FISA stuff (Flynn) is a big no-no.
Dems got a lot of stuff we know about (Page, Manafort, Stone, etc, banks, trump, money, Ukraine, GOP platform change...) on the record. Also painted Russian hack as act of war.
Repubs hit hard on the crime of leaking Flynn and its affect on US security.

(7,299 posts)I think they made it very clear today that any congressional investigation into Chump and his merry idiots will be only symbolic. Special prosecutor or bust.

(135,827 posts)tweeting live during the hearings.....jeebus
At just after 12:30, p.m., the president tweeted out a clip from the hearing which showed FBI Director James Comey refusing to deny that he had briefed former president Obama about Russia-related phone calls made by Gen. Michael Flynn. Comey had issued many similar refusals to comment throughout the hearing for various reasons.
That tweet was soon followed by another from the official POTUS account that showed NSA Director Admiral Michael Rogers saying there was no evidence that Russia had falsified election results in a number of key 2016 battleground states.
Trump next added a clip showing Rogers agreeing with the claim that unmasking individuals picked up in intelligence gathering operations was a threat to national security.

(1,129 posts)A limited one...
Senate Group clearly has more "classified" knowledge at this point...
but they hold hearings behind closed doors and are more serious about the situation.....
Comey & Senate Group basically used today's House Hearing to let the public (and GOP/Administration) know that virtually everyone is investigating the situation.....
Congressional investigations are one category but
FBI is looking at this from a criminal $/or national security perspective......
if they can continue to connect the communications / meetings to outcomes ....
and possibly even identify related monetary or value based transactions
Then it will become a RICO case....
Which is more than likely.
