Any Potential SCOTUS Judge Who Does Not Insist that Garland Get a Fair Vote First Is Not Qualified

What the GOP Senate did was inexcusable. They said "We won't let a Democratic president do his job, because he is a Democrat." It was an abuse of powers for partisan political reasons. Any jurist who accepts a nomination from Trump (or Pence or Ryan) in this situation is party to an abuse of power for partisan politics and will almost certainly follow in the footsteps of Scalia who persuaded four other justices to vote based upon the identity of the parties in the case in Bush v. Gore.

No One But Garland! Should be the Democrat's motto. And Gorsuch should be censured for accepting the nomination in this situation. He is a traitor to the law. An honest jurist would have said "No, thanks!" And if the GOP wants to break the law--or at least tradition--once again by going "nuclear" let them. It will just show how absolutely dishonest the party is. A party of Benedict Arnolds.
