How can somthing so simple be so confusing (Tump and the Russians)?
To me, it's simple.
Trump and his team were not under surveillance. Ever time a Trump surrogate or that asshole Spicer refer to news reports of Trump's campaign being quoted by our intelligence sources as evidence that they were under surveillance, I could scream.
Here's what I say to any nit-wit Trump supporter. "Do you think that Russian intelligence agents are under surveillance by the CIA (outside the United States) and the FBI (inside the United States)?" They always answer "yes" (after all no one is that stupid to say "no"
. Then I ask, "If one of those Russian spies is in contact with a U.S. citizen, and that citizen conspires with that Russian agent to undermine the United States, and is caught in that surveillance, what should the United States government do, throw that information away?" When they answer "of course not". My answer is "that's exactly what happened to those assholes you supported. That's why they'll go to fucking jail. Now, let me hear you chant, lock them up!!!"
