(8,419 posts)He can't be that clueless/stupid. (I am rethinking that as I type, because I always remind myself that you can't overestimate the STUPIDITY OF A REPUBLICAN)
He is either compromised or a hard core evangelical repub.

(9,287 posts)They both need to be defeated in 2018 or we will never know the truth. And they will purge any whistleblowers just like Putin would. Nunes is a real bad guy so k& r for visibility.

(55,894 posts)Nunes claiming he'd never heard of Page etc is absurd considering his role on Trump's transition and the fact their names were in the dossier.
Chaffetz as well.

(36,841 posts)Circumstantial evidence suggests a potentially grave situation to which Nunes is directly tied.
This could not be more serious.
I want to be very clear - I am working with all open sources, OSINT. Just what is available in the news is extremely worrisome.
Nunes' behavior during the HPSCI hearing on Monday with Comey and Rogers was extremely unusual. He tried to discredit the investigation.
Faced with revelations of espionage and the betrayal of democracy, Nunes perseverated on leaks - again.
Then he lied to the press.
I reviewed the tape of Nunes after Comey's testimony. He is quite audibly shaken.
He says, in a pressured manner "I DON'T KNOW ANY OF THOSE PEOPLE."
That statement is utterly implausible given his two roles.
First, his role as the Chair of an intelligence committee means he's at least seen "the dossier."
Also, he was on Trump's transition team.
Nunes, upon reviewing the last five months of news stories, was central to the formation of Trump's national security team.

(55,894 posts)And Luding sells it in Russia.
Someone posted this on the OP's tweet from Eric Garland. However, Nunes is not the sole owner. And Luding is a Russian distributer.
"It's a risky business," Nunes said Thursday, "but it's a neat thing for me to do."
Nunes revealed his limited partnership in the Rutherford-based Alpha Omega Winery as part of his personal financial disclosure statement. The statements are required annually of all House and Senate members.
Rep. George Radanovich, R-Mariposa, who founded Radanovich Winery, is no longer invested in the winery, according to disclosure statements.
While he was in the winemaking business, Radanovich often played a hands-on role. Nunes does not, though he noted that winemaking runs in his family; his grandfather and other relatives were amateur vintners.
Alpha Omega Winery opened last summer and is advertising its first bottles for between $24 and $60.
