It's not possible that there was legal surveilance AND it wasn't part of an investigation.

If the surveillance was legal it was for a reason. The reason would be an investigation of some sort. He can tell the truth saying it's not a criminal investigation because it's a counter-intelligence investigation, but it's based on a false premise.

Nunes confirmed there was a FISA warrant of some sort. Isn't that a crime?

Trump is a possible suspect connected to many suspects. Nunes just tipped off a target of an investigation.

Nunes may have found out that he himself is a suspect in this. And even if he wasn't, he should be now for the FISA leak. Maybe he can share a cell with Gowdy.

investigation. What he's managed to do is tell everyone there are other crimes involved - crimes serious enough to convince the FISA court to order a tap on someone.

Not just the current one we see now about the election interference.

Maybe the crooked and compromising business dealings by cohorts or Dear Leader?

Lots of Putin directed issues to investigate - and he found a fertile stinking field all around Dump to play with in many ways.

Nothing would surprise me. It could be a prostitution ring and I wouldn't even blink. There is nothing I would put past that degenerate.
