Trump just threw Ryan under his semi truck and blew the horn.

According to MSNBC just now, Trump has told several people that he's sorry he went along with Ryan's health care bill before doing tax reform. According to the NY Times:

Mr. Trump has told four people close to him that he regrets going along with Speaker Paul D. Ryan’s plan to push a health care overhaul before unveiling a tax cut proposal more politically palatable to Republicans.

He said ruefully this week that he should have done tax reform first when it became clear that the quick-hit health care victory he had hoped for was not going to materialize on Thursday, the seventh anniversary of the act’s passage, when the legislation was scheduled for a vote.

Sure he wants to blame Ryan. But this is the first time he's come close to an admission of failure on his own part. That's if the NY Times is getting accurate news from the source.

Juicy.

It wasn't "Obamacare repeal after I figure out what healthcare is and what Obamacare actually is and what Paul Ryan's ideological values are and what taxes are and how to reform those taxes and if those taxes need reforming and..."

But t-taxes are much s-simpler than healthcare... r-right?

He truly is a fucking idiot. Republicans would probably like the idea of cutting taxes for the wealthiest people, and would likely have gone with Trump, but like Trumpcare and his rotten budget, it would have just a plainly exposed him and the Republicans as the monsters they are. How would the pay for the tax cuts? How would they explain why the rich are getting money while everyone else's taxes go up? He's cutting social benefits to virtually ever sector of American life and doing Trumped up Trickle down?

As I said, truly a fucking idiot.
