government hierarchy. He doesn't understand anything about it and therefore just barges ahead thinking he can control everything without how the system works. Does the system work? Generally. yes. Does it need improvement? Also generally yes. As with anything, it can be improved.

Dolt45 is out of his league.

Trump, obviously coached to the max, acknowledged that gutting health care had to come first. That would provide the spending cuts to open the door for the massive transfer of the Treasury into the pockets of the wealthy, aka tax cuts totaling more than $880 billion over the next ten years.

By law (yeah, I know), they can't move on to tax cuts without without commensurate spending cuts. It wouldn't surprise me that that little tidbit has slipped Trump's mind.

What is odd, to me, is how quiet Ryan seems to be about the POTUS pushing congress around...

This situation has lots of moving parts, with failure very likely.
