It pisses me off that CNN covering the Healthcare debate as if it is a game.

Poppy Harlow asking this question with such enthusiasm, "CAN THE PRESIDENT WIN????"

Sorry Poppy, but this is not a game. The President can afford to purchase healthcare for himself and his family regardless of the cost. Us regular folks need healthcare that is affordable and doesn't force us to choose been healthcare and the mortgage. Or chose from a list of healthcare services, or bet on whether you might need "emergency services" or "diagnostic treatments" in the coming year, because under the GOP's ala carte method of obtaining 'essential services' you can't afford them all so you have to pick and choose and hope you choose correctly. So stop covering this as if its a horse race and treat it like the tragedy that it is. After 7 and a half years of voting to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, the GOP has no clue as to how to provide affordable health care to the citizens of this nation, but that won't stop them from trying to repeal what is currently working because they don't believe that the citizens of this nation are entitled to affordable health care. Perhaps the media should focus on how extremely popular the ACA has become to the citizens of this nation including members of the GOP now that they have had a taste of it, and their members of Congress want to take it away without having something comparable or better ready to go.

Speaker Paul Ryan, the GOP's Policy and Budget wonk has had 7and a half years to come up with his best shot and when he rolled it out the CBO told us all, that like their Party, the GOP's Plan is not ready for Primetime. While costing us billions more, it will leave 24 million who currently have coverage, without it. But, Speaker Ryan and his cohorts say, that doesn't include Phase 2 and Phase 3. Well we don't have time, while Wonderboy Ryan works his way through developing Phase 2 and Phase 3. He had his turn and he failed. For someone who launched this HUGE DUD with such enthusiasm and fanfare and said that he has been working on this his entire life, WE ARE NOT IMPRESSED, and we are not willing to give him a do-over.

We would however appreciate that the media treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and not like it is a game. Bad choices have consequences, and this healthcare bill is BAD. According to the latest Quinnipiac Poll, the majority does not want the ACA repealed. They want the Congress to work on fixing the problems in the current ACA to make it work for everyone.

the ACA and any plan that the GOP has or will come up with is an ideological manifesto, not a healthcare bill.

Rather than reporting facts they report horse races, popularity contests and which propaganda is flying today.
