(9,259 posts)It's working. My sis-in-law is home on disability and has been spending every waking moment calling her Congressperson (and others). They KNOW they will lose next year if they vote for this travesty.

I'm glad to hear that there are SOME limits to the inhumane behavior some Republicans are willing to engage in.

They appealed to the wrong group. The Tea Party won't budge and gutting it to appeal to them just made it impossible for the hold-out moderates to support it.
