Where did the meme that Trump walks away from deals comes from?

I know he walks/walked away from businesses he bankrupted.

Perhaps there are examples of bad business deals he walked away from, others made those deals, and they flopped.

I'd like to see evidence of them.

I believe he bested Merv Griffin over some Atlantic City deals in the 80s, but in the end his Atlantic City deals didn't end well either.
