I'm starting to think Comey is not the bad guy we all thought he was. Yes, he totally screwed HRC just before the election, but he may be trying to rectify that.

And I don't think he was motivated by partisanship. Rather, I'm convinced he had some misguided notion that he was protecting the integrity of the FBI when he announced the investigation of the Clinton E-mail. I'm pretty sure he would agree in retrospect that it was unfortunate and a very bad call.

I think he did that in order to to protect the much more important Trump/Russia investigation.

But the plain truth is that none of us know squat. We're just speculating based on our feelings and biases. Maybe we'll find out something later, maybe we won't. But for me it's a waste of energy to hate the one man who has a chance of sorting this clusterfuck.
