Now they can't get legislation through the House in Congress because the party represents too wide a spectrum...including fooled Dem voters in swing states. And Trump was vague enough to appeal to all.

They are suppose to be protecting the country against enemies foreign and domestic but as we see with Nunes they are trying to protect the criminals.

(7,077 posts)...is between the ultra-conservative ideology of rich fetishists of administrative deconstruction (Bannon, Ryan et al) and the real-world needs of those Republicans who haven't the luxury to be so ideologically fixated because they work for a living and actually need affordable health care.
Conservatism at its heart is heartlessness. And most people are better than that.
