I haven't seen much focus on the Roger Stone incident last week. There have been some indications that Stone is willing to sing to investigators. Then he became the victim of a hit-and-run "accident":

(11,085 posts)I'm not ready to bet the farm on it. If Stone thought someone was trying to do him in, and he chose to leave the scene, why didn't he go right to the police? Or at least call them immediately?

(73,506 posts)One possibility that I've heard is that he did call the police, but when they were not able to get to the scene for an extended time, he left and returned.
It's a curious event -- no matter what may have happened (or not happened).

(12,232 posts)Stone and Manafort both know just how treacherous and dangerous those they've hitched their wagon to can be. Hell, they are both treacherous themselves and rejoice in cruelty.
The question is would testifying at this point add to the layers of deceit or begin peeling them like an onion.

Isn't there a rule or a law that says you can't reveal the results of an investigation to the person being investigated?
