Basketball Fans Treated To Ads Congratulating Republicans For Repealing Obamacare

http://screengrabber.deadspin.com/basketball-fans-treated-to-ads-congratulating-republica-1793629526

Basketball fans tonight in several Republican-adjacent TV markets are enjoying a series of ads, prematurely bought by the American Action Network PAC, inviting viewers to call their representatives to thank them for repealing Obamacare today—something that did not happen.

Above you see an ad praising Virginia’s Barbara Comstock; it ran during the Wizards-Nets game. Below are ads for Fresno’s David Valadao and Des Moines’s David Young; both ran on CBS stations before March Madness coverage. Money well-spent, we think.

Can't remember which journo it was who characterized the whole pack of bozos as "The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight," but that just nailed it.

amusedly,
Bright

Many who saw that will likely think it happened . They will thank Republicans for the improved health care they now have...

These folks are some devious bastards. Truth has no place in their world.

may have even weighed that going in. On the other hand they are probably just dumb-asses, and everything just works out for them anyway. The more they screw up, the dumber the voters get.

Though some will believe it has been repealed
Some may even call to thank them
Love to see their faces when they're told it was repealed
If they see it wasn't repealed on the news they'll probably scream, "Fake News! I saw an advertisement before a basketball game that said it was repealed!"

She took the district my brother lives in. She is a useless teabagger and leans especially far to the right when she senses the wind blowing in that direction. A blight on Northern Virginia.

during the li'l bush years. I have a vague memory of that.

Just saw that Jimmy died last week. Good man, very talented, funny, good hearted. I just re-read his book on Damon Runyon a few weeks ago.
