Trying to make Flynn the fall guy will backfire

Rachel is talking about how the Trump people are pointing to Flynn as a Russian spy. If true, I don't see Flynn cooperating with being scapegoated. Look at how he reacted to being fired by Obama. Team Trump is wading into dangerous territory because Flynn knows where the bodies are buried, and I wouldn't be surprised if he decided to take them down with him.

defense attorney. Manafort's crimes are probably too serious to cut him a break either. My guess is someone like Kushner, who has an independent empire to guard, will give up the goods. Remember, in this world money trumps everything (pun intended).

Yes family is factor but if and when this all shakes out and we do in fact finally know the depth of this then kushner may flip instead of possibly facing decades in prison just my opinion friends and mike Flynn it totally floors me he was officer in army and he took same oath as I took as enlisted to defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and or domestic I think this is Russian saying and it applies to Flynn greed ruined the priest.

That was the famous question that took down Nixon, and it's just as relevant today with Trump.

7. To mention the obvious - TRUMP brought Flynn to his highly secret briefings once he was the nominee

It might explain some comments that implied that some things were withheld from Trump and explain why the Obama team spoke to him of concerns.

I saw the National Enquier cover that was posted - and it is strange that they are trying to make Trump the hero - for finding the WH spy. The problem is that Trump brought that spy into the WH - as his NSA!

I wonder if Flynn may feel his only hope is a Trump pardon -- that creates the situation where they are symbiotically connected. Flynn needs Trump in power with the desire to pardon him and Trump needs Flynn not to implicate him or others in his administration. Neither are trustworthy -- so this is a fascinating situation, where Flynn may try to deal with the IC because he sees Trump throwing him under the bus and Trump could - using the I can do or say anything belief he has - gamble that no one will belief Flynn.

I would say there is a lot of merit to it. If I get the gist of what you are saying, it is, Obama tried to warn Trump off Flynn but he didn't listen. It promises to be a most interesting spring.

We know Obama briefed Trump on something. We know Flynn was included in the briefings. I assume the IC wold have checked him out and his ties were not all that hidden.

IF this is true, consider the chutzpah of Trump making him NSA.
