This is something which our reps should start discussing. The problem is, I don't know how many would actually get behind it because in order to do this we'd have to eliminate Social Security. However, making it so people get by right here, right now, is something I fully support. Giving people a sliding average depending on what city and state they live would alleviate a lot of homelessness as well.
