The reality is that this bill has virtually no chance of going anywhere and certainly not soon. It was introduced six weeks ago. Since that time it has only picked up a handful of co-sponsors, has been referred to five different committees and hasn't been the subject of a single hearing in any of them.

This is a "for show" bill -- one that makes the Trump administration's proposed massive cuts in EPA funding seem reasonable by comparison. We shouldn't play their game by wasting time on a bill that has zero chance of passing. We need to make our voices heard on the budget cuts to EPA.
