'Regular reminder that Donald Trumps core competency is not dealmaking with powerful counter-parties. It is duping gullible victims.'

My estimation of Frum has gone way up. Same with Jennifer Rubin from waPo. Both are republicans who can't take it any more. And of course, I LOVE Josh Barro, another conservative who left the party a couple of years ago.
I know some people don't like welcoming republicans who are only now converting, or even Andrew Sullivan who converted under Bush the W but I find it fascinating. Political identity is a bit like religion and not many people leave the religion they were raised with. Hats off to all of them (oh yeah, maybe I feel that way because my father left the GOP under Reagan),

(15,237 posts)1. You are about to be taken over by a criminal enterprise.
2. If you run a criminal enterprise you are about to be taken over by a criminal whose insatiable appetite for profit, payback has no boundary or loyalty.
Prime Example:
A President who plays RW nut jobs for support when the scam fails he blames the RW nut jobs (insert Freedom Caucus) for failure. Then Donald Trump makes overtures to making a deal with Democrats someday. Moving on Trump has possibilities of developing a new group of willing marks. If you may be on a winning side this blood sucker will target you for his self enrichment. You too may become a criminal enterprise.

(15,237 posts)Trump needs to display his horns and go full red in public, a fat scowling orange clown with a long red tie is not scary enough.
