So I found this video to make a point about where we are today.

The hits just keep on coming. But they may not be real hits. They're likely intentionally false hits.

Before you hit the video link, you may want to mute your speakers. Whoever posted it seemed to think cheesy music would enhance the video.

So what the video shows is a V22 Osprey deploying what are essentially magnesium flares. They are intended to confuse incoming heat seeking missiles by preventing it from locking on the aircraft's engine's heat signature. The flares burn hotter and therefor cause the missile to lock onto one of them and miss the aircraft.

And that is what Nunes is doing.

And that is what the crazy-assed tweets are doing.

And that is what the leaks are doing.

And that is what Melissa Spice does daily.

And that is what the Keebler Elf's warning about sanctuary cities today was doing.

And that is what the design competition for The Wall™ is doing.

And that is what most of this political shitshow is doing.

All of that and more is defending against incoming missiles. But one way or another, the flares will burn out. The missiles will be followed by more missiles. Eventually, one will get through. And the heat signature will grow. And more missiles will be there. And more.

And they will hit their target.
