6. I have felt unsettled for a while.

I don't trust drumph or the repukes at all; I fully expect to see social security and medicare disappear before they have finished wreaking havoc. I don't think I am alone in thinking this way.

7. Just a general uneasy feeling that something is in the air.

The things that keep happening, Nunes' unusual behavior, new information leaking out, cancelled meetings...etc. Something is not right. Nothing would surprise me anymore.

I think there is much going on behind the scenes...in the White House, the Congress, in DC period. If something BIG doesn't break loose shortly, the lid on the pressure cooker is on much tighter than I thought. But when it blows off...look out. There will be much fallout.

Try not to be nervous, WiffenPouf. I think this will be big...maybe the biggest thing to ever impact our country. But I trust that at least a few of the people there will look out for the rest of us. And we need to let our opinions and voices be heard. NOW

11. I'm half hopeful and half scared shitless...

If "something big" comes down, what does that mean.

It could mean the end of this administration, or the end of our Republic. Either way, this level of chaos does not dissipate quickly or easily.

the republicans becoming more and more open about being in total control of our country, with no one able to stop them. Like Putin is with Russia.

13. Not really

To me this is settling into a repeating pattern of ongoing scandal that half of the country ignores, gridlock and bullshit, with the occasional right-wing EO. Depressing, annoying, but ultimately fixable when we retake power in 2-4 years. Enough of own party seems to be willing to keep him somewhat in check (McCain, Graham, and a few others).

The worst lasting damage will be court appointments, but we've survived conservative stacked courts before (90's after 12 years of Raygun and Bush the First appointments)
