... I mean that's been on the horizon for years.

Sears and Kmart will probably shut down soon and who knows what else. The big box stores are tanking because there are too many of them. There are too many shopping malls.

Our society has to make decisions based on the needs and desires of our citizens, not based on who's going to make a buck. I mean is anybody really making adult decisions at all? County managers and zoning officials are all saying yes to every type of growth because they're looking at short-term benefits only (tax dollars). They never consider long-term issues like environmental pollution, traffic congestion, water shortages, over-building an area, and what do we do with all these empty buildings when they move out?

Amazon-Dot-Com has been around how many years, kicking retail box stores' butts for at least 10 years. I'm not blaming Amazon, I'm saying that they figured out the next move before anybody else did. Good for them, bad for Sears/retail big box.

One hundred years ago, Sears was the Amazon of its time. Now its time is over, same as a lot of these big box stores.
Trump has many problems in the way his businesses operate, but he's got no answers for the retail industry.

I saw that Walmart now offers free shipping yesterday. Clearly trying to break into Amazon's business while they still can.

Won't save the box stores but might change the playing field before they sink for good.

He said it, so it's their truth, and "fake reality" can go to hell.
