He had a pained look on his face. He was flushed and sweating. He looked like someone who had just come on the scene of a horrific accident.
Regarding him being on the Senate Select Intelligence Committee, he said, "This is the most important work I have ever done in my career in the Public Sector."

I'll NEVER forget him saying that. I trust him.

This being done this way is a statement, a good one.

7. I saw this about Burr in the Wiki article:

"On July 20, 2016, during his re-election campaign, Burr announced that, should he win that year's election, which he eventually did, he would not seek re-election to a fourth term in 2022."

So, if he's not running again, he may be more likely to be forthright.

9. Warner says he trusts Burr and is working closely with him:

Last month, Warner said he had "grave concerns" about the independence of their investigation after reports surfaced that the White House sought help from Burr and others to help knock down certain negative news.

"We've had some bumps," Warner said. "But I am working very closely with him right now," adding, "I trust him that we will get this done. And we have a list of witnesses that I think you will see that is comprehensive. And we're going to talk to everybody involved."

Until he was compromised by the White House after Comey's testimony.

I want to trust Burr, but trusting Republicans is risky business.
