... this story is not going away. I think they're hoping that the public will lose interest over time, if they can drag it out long enough.

There are a lot of problems with that idea, the most obvious one being that the WH & Co. keeping pouring gasoline on the fire.

Every obfuscation, every last-minute cancellation of a hearing, every conflicting version of events, every ALL CAPS TWEET! is like throwing chum in shark-infested waters. It makes the story that much more intriguing, as in what are you trying to hide?

They are literally doing everything that makes them look guilty. I find that fascinating.

FBI Counterintelligence is a whole other story. From what I've heard, those guys don't even take time off to sleep!

drumpfanov transition team. Nunes is in "pea and shell" coverup mode hoping everyone will get tired of playing his game. I personally think the guy is desperate but he believes he can use his position of authority, backed by Ryan, to control the situation. Stay tuned to this psychotic unreality chaotic mess titled "As the Oval Office Churns".

a diversion, which then promptly blew up in his face. He is in effect, a dead man walking, and it's only a matter of time before he too will be tossed on the scrapheap. Collateral damage.
