Is "50409" still working?

for several weeks, you could text a message to 50409 and it would be faxed to your senators and your House representative. However, I have not been able to do it the past several days? Anybody else use this service and had issues recently?

4. I was only able to use it for a few days.

After that, it wouldn't work anymore.

5. I used Resistbot day before yesterday, but it had some trouble

last week for me. Probably overworked due to healthcare vote last week.

I hope you're successful with it today. I plan on using it today, too.

6. I tried to send a message this morning

I sent resist again to 50409 per the reply above and it helped.

However, I sent a message this morning about having Devin Nunes step down or recuse himself, but it said it was generating 0 letters and then it went on and sent to only one senator, not the other senator or my House rep.

7. As a back up, I hear that faxzero can send free faxes to

senators and reps.

Resistbot has some problems to work out, I guess.

as I mentioned above, I sent "RESIST" to 50409 again

I was able to send a fax, but then it said it was generating 0 faxes and then sent one to only one of my senators (Dick Blumenthal) and not the other (Chris Murphy) or my rep (Elizabeth Esty)

I even did the feedback and it said I could "SEND HOUSE" if I wanted to just fax Esty... however, it still generated 0 faxes and sent only to Blumenthal.

13. I think I figured out part of the problem

I typed in a long message to fax and somehow that didn't work for me. If I keep it around Twitter size (one or two sentences), it seems to work just fine without issue.
