Doris Kearns Goodwin: Trumps Anger is Going to Blow Up the Presidency

One of the America’s most famous historians, Doris Kearns Goodwin, stopped by the set of Morning Joe on Thursday to give a historical perspective our 45th president, Donald Trump.

“I don’t think he’s taken control of the agenda in any way,” she said. “He’s lost control of the bully pulpit.”

Goodwin, whose book Team of Rivals was a known favorite of Barack Obama, offered an almost Jedi-like assessment of Trump warning that his “anger” could end up consuming him and his administration.

“That anger has to be taken out and go somewhere or it’s going to blow up the presidency,” said Goodwin, who added that any of the presidents she has written about in the past would want Trump to cool it on Twitter.

2. I listened to her on Brian Williams 11:00 PM show

I got the impression she thought all he needed was to change and all would be well. It was like she never listened to him when he was campaigning, he put on a show that told what he was going to do, what kind of President he was going to be, what kind of immoral, mean nasty person he was and all he had to do to make it all go away was to change his spots. I didn't like her interview and I consider her a biased biographer unable to see the core of a person only seeing what she wishes to see and what conforms to her opinions.
