let's face it, we have one of the dumbest fucking 'presidents' this nation has ever elected.

Cnn calls it wacky, i call it sad, embarrassing and deplorable.

Trump's wacky history lessons continue

Washingtonn (CNN)After puzzling comments about 19th Century abolitionist Frederick Douglass and marveling that no one knew Abraham Lincoln was a Republican, President Donald Trump has just unloaded another historical non sequitur.

In the latest strange aside, Trump said that Andrew Jackson, the populist rabble-rousing President with whom he has begun to claim political kinship, had strong thoughts about the Civil War -- even though he died 16 years before the conflict broke out.

"He was really angry that -- he saw what was happening with regard to the Civil War," Trump said in an interview with Salena Zito, a Washington Examiner reporter and CNN contributor, on Sirius XM radio. "He said, 'There's no reason for this.' "

Trump's comment makes little sense because Jackson died in 1845 and therefore could have had limited knowledge about events leading up to the conflagration pitting his native South against Northern states.

His vocabulary is really, really, bad. I would expect someone who attended Fordham University and the Wharton School to have a bigly vocabulary, and really, really know things that your average American would know - being President is a difficult job - much more difficult than running a business. Passing any sort of national health care plan isn't something you can whip up over drinks at Mar-a-lago, even if they have really, really good chocolate cake.

It's also fascinating to watch him try to go through the motions of being President, and give us clear vision of the manipulations that are commonly done for the President. Why all the talk about Andrew Jackson? We are supposed to see him as a modern Jackson, and he knows nothing about him, or anyone else. He talked about Frederick Douglass to punch his "I'm not a racist" card, and fucked that up too by not knowing that the man was dead. Trump's a rich kid who never had to do anything, because his father and his inheritance shielded him from reality. So sad... except for the bigly fun my family has talking like him.

All the odds are on the man who is, intrinsically, the most devious and mediocre — the man who can most adeptly disperse the notion that his mind is a virtual vacuum.
The Presidency tends, year by year, to go to such men. As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

... I've forgotten about history. Same w most people. No biggie. But I sure as hell am going to RESEARCH THE DETAILS before I start using history as an analogy or explanation for anything.

Reason why?

Because a failure to do so means you are a complete f*^king moron who should not be allowed out in public.

This isn't even a Presidential thing.

This is a "should you be allowed to speak in public" thing.

Moron.

No wonder he picked DeVos.

that his cabinet picks were all idiots*, deliberately, because Cheeto thinks that he's smarter than they are so they won't show him up.

This is the new reality - a terrifying race to the bottom.

* the exception is Mattis, Sec Def. He is definitely not an idiot and I hope to FSM that he can get through to Cheeto.

I think he's the stupidest fucking idiot to EVER occupy the WH. In fact, had I been charged with finding a person more noxious, unbearable, and woefully unfit for office, I don't know that I could have surpassed this complete and utter goddamned MORON.
