Sorry I don't have a link. Just saw it on hardball. Most of the videos show him as he was walking away, but stop there. Hardball had a video when he walked away he sat down on at the "Resolute" desk shuffling papers with his ego bruised and pouting. I guess his Jarvanka will have to set up another campaign rally to pick him up. Or give him a new voter map so he can color in the lines.

Expect CBS to be banned or shoved to the back of the room if they're admitted from now on.

(15,543 posts)It was so lame. The move of a complete republican loser who needs to pretend he is a serious person. Sad. Pathetic really.

(2,559 posts)Normally I can't stand listening to Trump, but when Dickerson had him cornered (in a room without corners, no less), Trump started rattling off one lame attempt at deflection and obfuscation after another.
Catch phrases, repeated over and over:
"You saw what happened with surveillance..."
"And everybody saw what happened with surveillance..."
"Well you saw what happened with surveillance..."
"You can figure that out for yourself..."
"Look, you can figure it out..."
"I don't stand by anything, you can take it they way you want..."
"I think our side's been proven very strongly, and everbody's talking about it..."
When Dickerson pressed Trump on manning up and expressing his own opinion, Trump abruptly ended the interview and retreated behind his desk, and pretended to be reading something important.
Now, let's try to imagine what a real president would have done:
Truman: "Get the hell out of my office, kid"
Eisenhower: "Have you seen this door? It leads right out to the exit. Have a nice day."
JFK: "I think my wife needs me. Would you please excuse me?"
LBJ: "You remind me of my mother-in-law who's got one eye and it's in the middle of her forehead".
Nixon: "Let me say this about that. I am not a crook. You deserve to know your president is not a crook".
Carter: "I see you have a problem taking no for an answer. Let's kneel down by this sofa and pray for your soul"
Reagan: "Well, ah, well, when you seen one tree, you've seen them all"
Bush41: "Read my lips: No New Wiretaps!"
Clinton: "I feel your questions. Have you been to the new Burger King in town yet?"
Bush43: "I am a compassionate conservative. I have no idea what that means, but it feels good to say it"
Obama: "My father abandoned me at a critical time in my life. I wish you would do the same"

(82,849 posts)Side note to John Dickerson of CBS and the rest of the political media: You don't have to cover for this guy. You don't owe him anything. If he's a pouty little whiny ass titty baby, you can report that to the American people.

(7,808 posts)It's an unwritten rule for presidents to NOT say anything bad about another president. Trump said that he and Obama had had difficulties. Nobody will ever accuse tRump of having good manners.
