He probably has never even heard of Andrew Johnson or Stonewall Jackson, so I'm not sure if it's possible for him to get them mixed up.

He's in love with generals. In some ways it's the only thing that's given me any hope; the fact that a couple of his generals have reasonably straight heads. But he loves swashbuckling appearance and I honestly don't think he gives two fucks about the slaves or the Trail of Tears or the Civil War for that matter.

His thoughts seem to go like "He's a general! Great!" "It was an economic war. It fits in with my idea of making deals!" "I'd better say some stuff now!"
