The school tweeted that the school is under lockdown and advised students to go into the nearest room.
Police confirmed on Twitter that it was an active shooter situation.

Got to make way for the next shooter news story later in the day.
The victims should have been more careful when deciding to attend community college, part of the price you pay to live in a great country where firearms are omnipresent.

(9,974 posts)Another shooting in the area...Arlington, TX (for those unfamiliar with the DFW area, it's between Dallas and Ft Worth..Cowboy Stadium is there as is Texas Rangers').
Twitter is reporting an angry customer opened fire at Zona Caliente restaurant. I'm hoping this part is wrong but another tweet said 2 died..hopefully not true.
Edit: 2 died. The person killed by the shooter..and then the shooter was killed by a customer who was armed.
