Just by coincidence I was looking at the BBC's website and saw that an emergency meeting of royal staff had been called with no reason released. Just went back to check after seeing this, and even that vague headline is gone now. So officially it's still secret, I guess.

I'm sad for the family. He had a good innings but this must be awful for the Queen, whom I really like.

The AP and other news outlets are saying no one in the royal family has died- The only news outlet that has been silent is the BBC.

Take of his sorry family along.

Then make the funeral all about him.

His daughter/wife will try to make business deals.

Is she is stepping down as Queen. Passing the royal position on to Prince Charles. It could even be passed down to Prince William. (Prince Charles son)
