Mildly Nauseous?

“It makes me mildly nauseous to think we might have had some impact on the election." - James Comey

Mr. Comey, if I thought my actions might have even remotely contributed to putting Donald Trump in the White House, I would be more than “mildly nauseous”. I would be sick to my stomach every day of my life.

And you, sir, did more than “impact” the last election. Your behaviour, your statements, and your decisions handed Trump the presidency. We saw Hillary’s numbers deteriorate – days before the election – immediately following your October 28th letter to congress.

Your snide and totally unprecedented remarks about Hillary being “extremely careless” in using a private email address and server set the stage. Although declining to prosecute Hillary after investigating her email usage, your comment sent a message – “our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case” – a message that clearly conveyed the idea that what Ms. Clinton did amounted to some egregious wrongdoing you simply didn’t have enough evidence to prove.

The stage now being set, you went further on October 28th by inferring that your investigation into Hillary’s emails was not over, but that new and further evidence was possibly forthcoming.

Mr. Comey, if you are maintaining that you didn’t know how that announcement would sway the electorate in Trump’s favour, you are either lying or you’re the most clueless individual in the country.

So now, sir, it’s all on you.

That Idiot in the Oval Office – the unhinged madman who now has the nuclear codes – that’s on you.

The people who might lose their healthcare coverage as a result of Trump being in office, that’s on you.

The people who might lose their access to the social safety-nets that feed them, house them, clothe them as a result to Trump being in office, that’s on you.

A country that might lose its rights and freedoms as a result of Trump being in office, that’s on you.

The endless list of what disasters could happen, and ARE happening, to your fellow citizens as a result of Trump being in office, that’s ALL on you.

Words can’t begin to express how your “mildly nauseous” statement is beyond mildly nauseating to those of us who watched the events of the last election unfold, those of us who witnessed your active participation in ensuring that a mentally unhinged, bloviating, pussy-grabbing, racist – who probably WAS and IS Putin’s bitch – was elected over a highly qualified and experienced woman whose judgement you repeatedly called into question.

It’s ALL on you, Jimmy. Every disaster that befalls our country and our fellow citizens as a result of Trump’s “presidency” is on you.

And saying that you’re “mildly nauseous” doesn’t cut it. It doesn’t excuse you, it doesn’t exonerate you, and it doesn’t come close to undoing the damage you’ve done.

I believe that Russian interference in our election was the ultimate cause of Hillary’s election loss. I believe that operatives of a foreign, adversarial government used every tactic necessary to ensure that a man who could be blackmailed and/or financially coerced into doing their bidding was installed in the White House. I believe that these people were intent on making sure that Hillary Clinton would never be elected.

That being said, I am left wondering how you are any different than they are.

That remark is offensive. He should be reeling; he should be devastated; he should be consumed by regret; he should recede into seclusion.

He is not, of course. He is defending his actions. He should keep his minor stomach upset to himself.

He should spend the rest of his life with his head in a toilet. "Mildly nauseous" is an insult to the American people.

wait until you're served history's verdict about you screwing with the election. You'll hurl everything you ever ate and maybe your digestive track, too.

You should have to wear a scarlet "F" for the rest of your days.

Hitler Chancellor). A fastidious little conservative prick, just like his forbear.
