Every time I started to nod off I thought of what the asshole Republicans in the House were doing.

It's been that way now and then since Hair Fuhrer was elected.

1. I'm right there with ya'. Been getting up at 3 am to check if the earth is still intact.

We might not get sleep tonight either if the local weather forecast is accurate.

2. I have had to turn off my empathy.

I know that everything republicans do is wrong and I loath them. But when I look at people from our side attacking our candidates because the disagree with those candidates on maybe 10-15% of issue and then voting third party or not voting, it is hard to care. My own personal situation is sound, nothing that Trump and republicans have done so far hurts me financially, but it destroys me morally - given the last condition and many on our side tending to vilify our candidates, it is best for me to turn off my caring.
