I was on here during the Kerry - Edwards campaign and both Obama - Biden campaigns. I had to change my name on here because I couldn't remember my old password and had a different email address. There are actually more liberals in this area then most people realize. I.actually saw more HRC bumper.stickers and yard signs than I did for BLOTUS. If he doesn't change people's politics to vote Dem, then they are truly ignorant.

Or the rest of East Tennessee?

There isn't much alternative for much of what you need in a lot of places now that they have run the mom and pops out of business.

For another, there are some things here that we need that are only at Walmart.

Thirdly, 90% of this country is pro-Trump which includes a lot of businesses.

Finally, most of our shopping is done at other stores if they have it at affordable prices.

Oh, we do also have Target, a poorly supplied K-Mart on it's last legs, and a few grocery stores.

We do our best and I'm sure my liberal credentials are in the crapper now.

Now, Chick fil A, Hobby Lobby and some others are off my list. Our K-Mart closed (Alcoa/Maryville).

in a year. I purchase cat litter because it makes me feel better that something from Walmart is being crapped on. The actual reason I am there is because my mother shops there. I can not afford it but I shop local as possible. Financially I should be shopping Walmart but they are as evil as trump and I know because I worked for them years ago and know others who do work and have worked for them.

The "effort" I put in is directly related to my voting habits. Which are blue. Where I spend my money is my business.

In Kingsport. One of the reddest spots in an incredibly red state. I use to live in the Tri-Cities years ago. Now just across the Mtns in NC, after more than a few stops in between. Never thought I'd ever see something like that in Kingsport.
