Watching the high-fiving of Trump and the House Republicans: the very definition of a bully

A bully, after all, whether on the schoolyard playground or in the halls of Congress, is someone who derives pleasure out of making people suffer,--people who are powerless to defend themselves, and are wholly vulnerable to the bully's whims. This was a picture of smug, arrogant, unfeeling bullies, drunk with their capacity to inflict suffering on others.

All those out-of-work people in Janesville, Wisconsin who re-elected Paul Ryan to the House--people who will now lose not only the prospect of recovering jobs that were never coming back, but now their last protection against bankruptcy due to health issues--will they again vote to put Ryan back in the Speaker's seat?

My guess is: yes, they will. They are as indoctrinated as the people in the last days of the Third Reich who were convinced that patriotism and der Führer would lead them to greatness again. Better to drown in debt, and die a slow death in poverty than vote for a "libbrul (translation into English: Democrat)." Better the bully they know than the friend they don't. And all they had to do for a chance at a better situation was check the other box on election day.......

My immediate reaction was I saw a sea of smug faces begging for a swift punch.
All of them cruelly celebrating at their beer party need a punch. Or two...or three.

They make me sick.

if this new bill is so good, do they have a completely separate (much better) healthcare bill for themselves? We should DEMAND that this "wonderful" bill covers EVERYONE, including the boot lickers in DC. How much were they all paid to vote for this disaster? Had to be considerable, money is the only persuader they bow down to. I read that lots of cases of beer has been deivered for their celebration. Celebrate screwing over millions of foolish people who voted for the orange lump.
