Being Alive Is a Pre-Existing Condition

Everyone who is alive will need healthcare at various points in their life. So, simply being alive is a guaranteed that there will be healthcare costs. Perhaps health insurance companies should decide to issue policies only after an individual dies.

Death is a pre-existing condition too!

Basically, everyone gets to be in the "high risk" pools. I'm betting being born is probably a pre-existing condition.

decided to forgo medical insurance for a few months.
I know - impossible for almost everyone (if you opt out you never get it again).

We need a plan on how to resist big insurance companies without dying in the process.

we're all pawns to the insurance companies. What we need is universal, tax-funded, single-payer healthcare that kicks in at conception. That's what we need.

We need a government that actually has the best interests of all of its citizens as its highest priority. We do not have such a government. I suggest we elect one like that at every level, from City Hall to Congress. Until we do, we get what others offer, and no more.
