RALLY AGAINST INHUMANE ICE DETENTIONS IN OREGON
The Northern Oregon Regional Correctional Facility (NORCOR) in The Dalles has a shameful secret: The jail is increasing the number of detainees they hold for Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) in violation of the state law prohibiting the use of law enforcement facilities for federal immigration enforcement.
Our lawyers have meet with the imprisoned ICE detainees at NORCOR and have heard of terribly inhumane conditions. In protest, at least five detainees went on a six day hunger strike, and they need our support.
Join local activists this Saturday at noon show support for the hunger strikers and to demand that ICE get out of NORCOR!

The ICE detainees at NORCOR are being held in conditions unfit for any human being. They can't go outside. Instead, they're allowed time in a cinderblock room with no windows and netting over the open roof for about an hour a day, often before the sun comes up. There are walls covered with bugs. They aren't allowed visits from their friends or family. They aren't given socks. No one should be subject to this kind of treatment.
President Trump's ICE raids, mass detentions, and mass deportations are tearing Oregon families apart. It's time to get ICE out of NORCOR. Join us this Saturday, May 6, to rally and support those on hunger strike.
Sincerely,
Sarah Armstrong

He wants to build lots of internment camps and warehouse illegals for a year or two to line his own pocket and the private prison industries coffers.

you can bet they can't wait to cooperate with the Feds to bust folks over pot.
