(1,606 posts)Probably because I preferred the Addams Family instead and didn't watch the Munsters as much.
As a kid I didn't like that the Munsters didn't seem to embrace their creepiness and tried too hard to assimilate. And what was with the 'normal' family member? I never got how that was supposed to be funny. The Addams Family was just a better show in my opinion (still think so.)
I just loved that the Addams were more like assuming they were the normal ones in any given situation and just weirding everyone else out. The whole cast and premise was great.
The Munsters just wasn't funny and always seemed like a cheap knock-off to me. (They probably were, right...after all the Addams were at least based of Charles Addams comic.)
The only thing I remember liking about the Munster's was Lily's hair and outfit, although Morticia was still better in that department as well. Now I am in the mood to go watch some Addams Family reruns! LOL

http://www.aynrandisdead.org/the-fountainhead/the-rape-scene-in-the-fountainhead/
Rand herself calls it "rape by engraved invitation". This was an action she wanted and Howard knew it. In the scene there are many sentences to support these contentions.
Rand writes, "She fought like an animal. But she made no sound. She did not call for help." The servants were quite nearby but she did not scream. Rand goes on to say, "He did it as an act of scorn. Not as love, but as defilement. And this made her lie still and submit. One gesture of tenderness from him - and she would have remained cold, untouched by the things done to her body. But the act of a master taking shameful, contemptuous possession of her was the kind of rapture she had wanted."
A favorite trashy novel of many Republican politicians-Trump, Tillerson, Rand

Just when you thought nightmares of Trump weren't enough.

He gives respect only to himself because his ego is so massive. I wonder if he knows exactly how despised he is in this Country.
