Colbert shouldn't have used a gay slur to deride Chump

But it is far, far, far, far... far from a fireable offense. One has to look at what was meant as well as what was said. I don't believe he intended to deride gays.

BTW, I would have called Trump Putin's fluffer. That's gender neutral.

And now the FCC is getting involved. What's up with that ?

The Alt Right wants a scalp after we got Ailes' and O'Reilly's scalp.

I agree. It's about Trump being subservient to Putin. It's not about Trump being gay. jalan48 May 2017 #12

If it had been a reference to heterosexual sex, the woman would have been implicated as a cocksucker.

The comment was based on two people having sex, IMO.

I'm wondering if any complaints came from the LGBTQ community? From what I saw, many of the complaints originated from the trump Reddit site - and they are profoundly homophobic (almost proudly so).

I think they just used the issue because it would get results.

Does anyone know if the LGBTQ community is upset? I'm curious -

The FACEBOOK is getting involved because the Butternut Bigot is focused on himself, not running a country.

Butternut Bigot is vindictive PERIOD.

The implication is clear - Trump's on his knees and his master is standing.

is a vestige of another time - 30, 40, 50 years ago in our youth - and can be almost an uncontrollable reflexive reaction (Alec Baldwin lost his MSNBC show!).

When we all see Colbert's comment as inappropriate - when Colbert doesn't see it as appropriate - then we will have turned the page.

Somebody does something to upset me and in my mind I will attribute it to the person's group until I realize the person is just an asshole.
